Yapp Wine
Yapp Wine
If you are after characterful wines from small independent wine makers, you’re in the right place.
Founded in 1969, Yapp Brothers Wine Merchants is widely recognised as
the UK's leading importer of French regional wines. The company is
rated as one of the
'Top Ten Online Wine Merchants in the UK' by The Independent, and the
Telegraph Weekend has published a double-page spread on the history and ethos of Yapp Brothers, written by
Victoria Moore. You can read a copy of the article here:
A good Yapp about great wine.
Founded in Hampshire in 2005, from a little red wind and solar-powered
art covered coffee cart, Mozzo has always sought to bring people
together through coffee connection.
Mozzo set up the C2C Fund in
2015 to underpin their entire business, ensuring accountable social and
environmental impact is delivered both close to home and in
coffee-growing communities. Every coffee bean sold contributes
directly to the Fund - their commitment runs far deeper than cost per
bean. It’s not fair trade, it’s friendship.
Mozzo coffee beans are sourced and roasted with the upmost
care and focus on consistency to deliver a product range that is
continually reliable, flavourful and does more than pay lip service to
the people who grew it.
Made up of over 19,000 acres of northeast Wiltshire,
West Berkshire and North Hampshire, the home farms are centred on the
beautiful village of the Ramsbury Estate, which nestles in the heart of
the Kennet valley.
On site at Ramsbury Estate, we built our brewery in
2004 to make the most of the world-class barley grown in our fields, the
distillery produced its first bottle of single estate spirit in late
2015 and has been winning international awards since, and the estate
pub, The Bell at Ramsbury, won AA pub of the year in 2017.
The Ramsbury Estate proudly produces award-winning craft beer and
delicious fresh produce, offering craft brewery tours and more.
My Apple Juice began in 2009 when, frustrated at the sight of so many
apples going to waste in private gardens, Richard Paget decided to
start a pressing service in his local village. That first year 1.5 tons
of apples were collected & cut up and put through the family magimix
(it still works!) and into a small borrowed hand press; producing 1,000
bottles.
From this modest start the enterprise has grown considerably with
Richard, his partner Sally, and their annually hired team pressing
apples delivered from private houses up to 50 miles away of their base
at Hungerford Park.
